We will perform brand new songs from our upcoming & yet untitled full release, plus some good ol' "Name Your God" and "Dispossessed" material.

PRESS RELEASE - JUNE 2011

LIVE ANNOUNCEMENT - FRIDAY 17 JUNE 2011

We are extremely happy to officially announce that after almost 6 years of absence, Rafferty Rules will be performing their very first live appearance!

The band has been confirmed to play live on the European Music Day Festival in Volos, on Friday 17 June 2011. 

The official scheduled hour is yet to be confirmed and officially announced. At this stage, all we can promise you is nothing less than some good old times and some more brand new surprises! Stay tuned!

Guitarist Club Jam Night with Jim as Special Guest

The Guitarist Club organizes the "Guitar Jam Night" in Thessaloniki, where members of the Club will gather to perform, jam and improvise some cool guitar tunes.

Rafferty Rules is proud to announce that our guitarist, Jim Politis will be appearing as a Special Guest of the Club, to perform live some of his "other" fine tunes!

The event will take place at Red Velvet Club.

The date is 19 May 2011 and the entrance is free so don't miss this!!!

3rd Annual Guitar Jam 2011

In Support of our Local Music Community through our Official Blog, we are happy to present you with one of the best annual events that takes places in our hometown, Volos.

The 3rd Guitar Jam of Volos is only 2 days away... Be there!!!

9 Years is a Long Time...

... and yes, it's Official!

Rafferty Rules will be entering BPM Studios in their hometown Volos during the Greek Easter Holiday of 2011 to initiate the Recording Sessions for the full length follow-up of their 2001 "Name Your God". 

Several songs are already in place, Riffs, Lyrics and Rhythms keep piling up and there's a Constant Goddamn Killer Smile on our faces as we cannot wait to look right back into your eyes and perform these songs live...

Yet, first things first... we will keep you posted with Updates from the Studio!

There are also several ideas on the table regarding the format(s) of our Upcoming Release, however, we 'll get there when we get there...

The homeless who slide down rubbish chute to their beds

For the last two months, father of three Pirthy Sandhu has been sleeping rough on the Havelock Estate in Southall, and at 10pm every night, he climbs through a hole in a wall below a sign that says "please put your rubbish into the chute" and slips down the chute into a giant wheelie bin full of garbage.

He hauls himself out, rummages for his sleeping-bag hidden in the corner, spreads it out on the dank, concrete floor between the bins and, despite the overpowering stench, tries to grab a few hours sleep...

Dim's Guest Solo & Nick's Endorsement

One hell of a holiday ours has been, but damn!, it's been so long and boy, did we love it..!?!

While Rafferty Rules is working on new songs, Dim Politis has made a guest appearance on Anthimos Manti's New Album "Time to Turn" released on GUITAR NINE RECORDS. Dim appears on the song "Fuzz Split" among another 28 guitarists in what appears to be an officially-released, party-like jam session...
